Monster Hunter 3: Amazon.com's April Sales Ranks

(click chart to enlarge)

The Quick Brew:
Monster Hunter 3 was released on April 20, 2010.
The chart above tracks Monster Hunter 3's Amazon.com sales ranks, for both versions of the game, from April 1 through April 30.

As stated above, Monster Hunter 3 was released with two different versions:
1) The Monster Hunter 3 Standard software package, which was the software only, with a MSRP of $49.99
2) The Monster Hunter 3 Classic Controller Pro(CCP) bundle package, which was bundled with the new Classic Controller Pro, with a MSRP of $59.99

Reaching the Top 100:
The first record of the Monster Hunter 3 Classic Controller Pro bundle entering Amazon.com's "Top 100" was on April 6, around 3:00PM.  It was ranked #95 at the time.
The first record of the Monster Hunter 3 Standard version, software only, entering Amazon.com's "Top 100" was on April 14, around 10:30PM.  It was ranked #96.

Highest Record Sales Rank:
The highest sales rank I recorded Monster Hunter 3(game only) was #10, on April 19, around 9:50PM.
The highest sales rank I recorded the Monster Hunter 3 Classic Controller Pro bundle was #22, on April 15, around 5:25PM.

Thoughts:
The chart shows that on April 14, Capcom bought advertising space, and let Monster Hunter 3 be the "sponsor", for the 200th episode of South Park.
I find it very interesting that April 14, around 10:30PM, was the first time the Monster Hunter 3 Standard version of the game, crossed into Amazon.com's "Top 100".
I did not record the Monster Hunter 3 Standard version of the game, falling out of Amazon.com's "Top 100" for the rest of the month of April.

I think that Capcom has probably been taken by surprise, by how well the Monster Hunter 3 Classic Controller Pro bundle has been selling.
As stated above, on April 14, Monster Hunter 3 was the "sponsor" for the 200th episode of South Park, I do not know what time, Eastern Standard Time, the episode aired, but I believe the advertisement on South Park greatly increased sales of the Monster Hunter 3 Classic Controller Pro bundle.
April 15, around 1:50AM, was the first time I have recorded of Amazon.com being "sold-out" or "back-ordered" of the Monster Hunter 3 Classic Controller Pro bundle.

According to my records, the Monster Hunter 3 Classic Controller Pro bundle was repeatedly "sold-out" or "back-ordered" on Amazon.com from April 15 through April 23.
On April 23, around 3:20PM, the Monster Hunter 3 CCP bundle was ranked #448.
April 24, around 2:35AM, was the first day I have recorded, that Amazon.com had the Monster Hunter 3 CCP bundle available again.
You can see the huge increase in sales rank, when Amazon.com had the bundle available again.
On April 24, around 2:35AM, the Monster Hunter 3 CCP bundle was ranked #106.
The Monster Hunter 3 CCP bundle was in stock, on April 24 and April 25.  Since those two days, the CCP bundle has had issues staying available/in-stock on Amazon.com.

You can tell from the chart's data, from April 1 through April 15, the Monster Hunter 3 Classic Controller Pro bundle, was the bundle people were choosing when purchasing the game from Amazon.com.
I wonder how high the Monster Hunter 3 CCP bundle would have ranked, if it had been continuously available?

Questions:
Have you purchased either version of Monster Hunter 3?  If so, did you purchase the game only, or did you go with the Classic Controller Pro bundle?
I purchased the game only version, and I have played using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls so far.

If you watched the 200th episode of South Park, and if you're on the East Coast, what time did it air?
I don't have cable television, so I don't know what time South Park episodes first air on EST.

Also, if you are playing Monster Hunter 3 online, this next week I should have a little bit more time for some online play.  My Monster Hunter 3 online name/code is:  Coffee KKJ9F2.
